CET 751
Computer Hardware and Networking Essentials
3 credits

Class Description:

A study of computer hardware and networks used in the educational setting. Topics include hardware maintenance and upgrade, network wiring, topologies, planning, installation, and maintenance of computer networks. This course requires a summer one week campus residency.

Class Reflection: This course allowed me to explore several things I never had the opportunity to explore before. The chance to take apart a computer and learn about all the actual hardware that works within a computer was a benefit in many ways. I also enjoyed my time in Madison and made many connections with students I only knew through user names.
