Leadership in Technological Change
The course is designed to develop an understanding of how to create and support technological change through a systems approach. Topics include sources of resistance to change, tools for planning, decision-making and change, creating and supporting a culture for learning and change, and managing and institutionalizing change systems.
Class Reflection: For anyone that is taking the MSET program from a more administrative viewpoint this course is very helpful. It asked us many questions about how to create change within an organization. Creating change is one thing but the addition of getting others to adapt to new technology changes can be difficult. The work in this course allowed me to have discussions with peers about some of the issues at my former place of employment and gave me many options on how to proceed.
